President John Dramani Mahama is set to continue his Resetting Ghana Tour in the Upper East Region as part of his ongoing engagements with citizens nationwide.
The President is expected to spend Thursday and Friday in the region, where he will engage citizens, traditional leaders, community groups and other stakeholders on issues affecting the area.
The tour forms part of President Mahama’s post-election appreciation engagements following his victory in the 2024 general elections and is also intended to advance his government’s national reset agenda.
In a post on Facebook, the Presidency announced that President Mahama would take the #ResettingGhanaTour to the Upper East Region “to engage citizens and drive the national reset agenda.”
The engagement is expected to provide an opportunity for residents to raise concerns, share their expectations and discuss development priorities with the President and his team.
The Upper East Region played a significant role in the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) victory in the 2024 presidential election, with President Mahama securing more than 360,000 votes in the region.
His visit is therefore expected to attract significant participation from party supporters, community members and stakeholders as the government engages the region on its development agenda.
