The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived in Kansas City as preparations intensify for their decisive 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash against Colombia.

The squad travelled from Providence on Wednesday, bringing an end to a three-week stay in Rhode Island, where they were based throughout the group stage.

During that period, Ghana faced Panama, England and Croatia as they secured progression to the knockout rounds.

The team is now settled in Kansas City ahead of Friday’s fixture at Kansas City Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 01:30 GMT on July 3.

The match carries significant weight, with a place in the Round of 16 at stake as Ghana aim to extend their World Cup campaign.

A mandatory training session is scheduled for Thursday as the squad finalises preparations.

The Black Stars’ progression marks their first appearance in the knockout stage of the tournament since 2010 in South Africa, and they will be hoping to make further history against their South American opponents.
