Nigerian actress and TV personality, Nancy Isime has revealed her deeply personal views on parenthood, stating that true love for children might mean choosing not to bring them into an increasingly difficult world.

When asked on the Thanks For Coming podcast, how many children she would like to have, Isime gave an unconventional and candid answer that has left fans talking.

She remarked that while she loves children, she sometimes questions the idea of bringing them into the world given the difficulties people face in life.

“You know the craziest thing about loving children? I feel like if you really love children, you wouldn’t want to bring them into the world,” she said.

The ‘Blood Sisters’ star added that life today comes with significant struggles, making her reflect deeply on the decision to have children.

“Are you not suffering today? Have you not seen me today? Is earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot? Don’t you wish some days that you were not born?” she asked during the interview.

Nonetheless, she said she is open to having children in the future simply because no body can escape the suffering of being born.
