Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has sparked reactions after issuing a stern warning to his wife, Florence Obinim, over her recent comments in the media concerning their marriage.
In a heated message, Obinim advised Florence that when she appears on interviews, she should focus on promoting her music and avoid discussing issues relating to their private life.
He cautioned that she was “pushing him too far,” adding that if he ever decides to speak, it would not end lightly.
The controversial cleric further warned that certain revelations, if made public, could affect family unity and strain relationships within both the household and church circles.
He also urged her to “keep quiet” for her own good, insisting that continued public commentary on their marriage was unnecessary and damaging.
Obinim, visibly agitated in tone, accused her of tarnishing his image and encouraging people to speak negatively about him, stressing that he had remained silent for too long.
The couple’s 22-year-old marriage is on the verge of divorce over what Florence described as cheating and irreconcilable differences.
