Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has announced his final 21-player squad for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
The tournament will take place from September 5 to September 27, with Ghana preparing for an eighth consecutive appearance on the global stage.
Defender Alexandra Tay, forward Jennifer Dawah and goalkeeper Najat Abdul Salam are among the players selected, with the trio set to feature at the U-20 Women’s World Cup once again.
Goalkeepers Precious Akanguwie and Ruth Agudu Sebbie have also been included in the squad.
The defensive unit is made up of Precious Asante, Ruby Osei, Juliana Gyekyewaa, Salma Naazo, Margaret Agyapomaa of Police Ladies and Diana Amoako of Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
In midfield, Sampson has selected Esther Asamoah Yiadom, Latifa Musah, Latifa Abesik, Sarah Nyarko and Ruth Amponsah.
The attacking department features Ivy Osei Owusu, Jackline Ntoso, Priscilla Mensah, Angelema Akanyirige and Guangdong Women’s striker Agnes Yeboah.
Ghana will begin their Group campaign against Ecuador on September 6 before facing Korea Republic and France in their remaining fixtures.
The Black Princesses will be hoping to make history in Poland by progressing beyond the group stage for the first time after qualifying for the tournament for the eighth consecutive edition.
Meanwhile, Charles Sampson and his side will wrap up their preparations with a friendly game against Mexico’s U-20 team.
