Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has shared a chilling testimony after surviving a motorbike accident while filming a movie scene.
The actress was reportedly shooting a scene that required her to ride on a motorbike when things suddenly went wrong.
According to details shared on social media, the rider, co-actor Victory Michael, lost control while navigating a curve, causing the motorbike to crash into a pole.
The accident immediately halted filming as crew members rushed to her aid before she was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Videos posted by the actress showed her receiving medical attention, with visible injuries to her leg.
The incident temporarily left her confined to a wheelchair as she began her recovery process.
Reflecting on the frightening ordeal, Omeche Oko expressed gratitude for escaping what could have been a far worse outcome.
“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story but God said no,” she wrote.
She also used the opportunity to draw attention to the risks actors often face while bringing stories to life on screen.
“If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you, God,” she added.
The actress’ post has since attracted an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, many of whom have wished her a speedy recovery while praising her resilience following the on-set accident.
