A delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to explore stronger bilateral cooperation in security and intelligence matters.
The delegation, led by Mr. Mo’ath Alzo’bi, Director of Political Affairs at the Office of His Royal Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, held discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in key areas including counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity building for security agencies.

Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic and security ties with Jordan.
He noted that sustained cooperation and knowledge exchange between both countries would significantly enhance the operational capacity of their respective security institutions.

The Interior Minister stressed that Ghana values partnerships that contribute to addressing evolving security challenges, particularly in the areas of intelligence and counterterrorism.
The Jordanian delegation also expressed its readiness to work closely with Ghana in advancing shared security objectives and strengthening joint efforts against emerging threats.

Both sides emphasized that the engagement reflects a shared commitment to promoting regional and global peace, stability, and security through strategic cooperation.
