From the vibrant streets of Lapaz to an ever-evolving global soundscape, Ghanaian artiste, producer, and creative visionary EmPeraw has returned with a deeply personal body of work titled OLD VIBRATIONS.

Born Augustine Adjei, EmPeraw continues to carve a unique path in the music industry through resilience, independence, and authentic storytelling. Known for taking a hands-on approach to his craft, he once again assumes full creative control of the project, shaping every aspect from production to visuals.

OLD VIBRATIONS marks a defining chapter in his artistic journey, one rooted in vulnerability and emotional honesty. After enduring years of grief, EmPeraw uses the project as an outlet to transform pain into melody and reflection into rhythm.

More than just an EP, the seven-track project serves as a personal archive of loss, healing, and strength, capturing the emotional complexities of life after losing a loved one.

The EP features songs such as Looking For Someone, Skip This, Back To Sender, Pray Everyday, You Like That, Old Vibrations, and You. Each track carries its own emotional depth while contributing to a cohesive narrative.

While EmPeraw leads the project as the primary writer and performer, Skip This features Alyssa, whose contribution adds a refreshing dynamic to the EP. The title track, Old Vibrations, also features guitarist Maxwell Frimpong alongside additional vocals from Gladys Adjei.

Production across the entire EP was handled by EmPeraw, who produced, mixed, and mastered all seven tracks. Maxwell Frimpong’s consistent guitar contributions further enrich the project with a soulful and organic sound.

Released under the independent label Trician Music, the EP reflects artistic freedom, ownership, and identity.

At the heart of OLD VIBRATIONS is a tribute to Patricia Adjei, EmPeraw’s late sister, whose passing left a profound impact on his life. Her memory serves as the emotional foundation of the project and inspires his determination to persevere, grow, and support his family, especially his mother, Gladys Adjei.

With OLD VIBRATIONS, EmPeraw offers listeners more than music — he delivers an emotional experience meant to be deeply felt.
