Black Starlets head coach Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum has named Ghana’s squad for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco.
The tournament will kick off on May 13, 2026, with Ghana beginning their Group D campaign against Algeria on May 14.
Ghana have been drawn in a challenging group alongside reigning champions Senegal, South Africa and Algeria, as the former African champions aim to secure a place in the knockout stage.

The defensive unit includes Mujahid Osman, Kingsley Fosu, Issah Rafiu, Essau Atsu Kpoeti, Nicholas Essuman, Jacob Etse Kpoeti and Gabriel Denyinah, who are expected to provide stability at the back against strong opposition.
The midfield comprises Issac Barfo, Augustine Appiah, Michael Awuli, Michael Nyantakyi, Eric Adu Gyamfi and Mark Kagawa Mensah, all tasked with providing creativity, balance and control in the middle of the park.
In attack, Mark Aboagye, Abdul Latif Wunzalgu, Joseph Narbi, Gavi Robinho Yao, Clement Agyei and David Ofori will lead Ghana’s goal-scoring hopes.
