Prophet Samuel Nixon to be laid to rest this weekend

Founder and leader of Turnaround Chapel International, Samuel Nixon, will be laid to rest this weekend at Ohwimase in the Ashanti Region.

Prophet Nixon passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, after a brief illness, just two weeks before his planned wedding.

The burial arrangements indicate that there will be no wake-keeping.

The programme begins on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with the body lying in state from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the Ohwimase Anglican School Park, followed immediately by the burial service at 8:00 a.m.

Interment will take place at the Ohwimase Cemetery, while the final funeral rites will continue later the same day at the Anglican School Park from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the church premises opposite Rowlex, Kwadaso, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a family gathering at Ohwimase Anglican School Park from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

He is survived by his parents and four siblings.

Prophet Nixon was widely regarded as a devoted servant of God, known for his commitment to spiritual guidance and leadership of Turnaround Chapel International, with a focus on faith and obedience to divine calling.
