Two Ghana Premier League sides, Medeama SC and Dreams FC, are set to clash in the semi-finals of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup following their dramatic quarter-final victories on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Dreams FC secured their place in the last four after edging past Heart of Lions 4–3 on penalties. The match ended 1–1 after 120 minutes of action, forcing the tie into a tense shootout where the Still Believe lads held their nerve to advance.

Later that evening at the same venue, Medeama SC faced Division One League side Attram De Visser FC in a hard-fought encounter.

After a frustrating goalless draw in regulation time, young forward Kelvin Nkrumah delivered a remarkable extra-time performance, netting a hat-trick to guide the Mauve and Yellow to victory and seal their place in the semi-finals.

The result sets up a highly anticipated meeting between the two top-flight sides, with Medeama aiming to reach the final as they chase a third FA Cup title.

Dreams FC, meanwhile, will be hoping to progress and move closer to lifting the trophy for a second time.

The FA Cup Committee is expected to announce the date and venue for the semi-final clash in the coming days.

The eventual winner of the competition will earn the right to represent Ghana in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
