IGP Yohuno receives NYPD delegation to strengthen policing partnership

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has received a senior delegation from the New York City Police Department (NYPD) at the headquarters of the Ghana Police Service in Accra.

The visit is part of a series of high-level engagements aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two police institutions and advancing discussions on operational cooperation, professional exchange, and modern policing practices.

The NYPD delegation was welcomed by the IGP alongside members of the Police Management Board (POMAB). During the meeting, both sides held extensive discussions focusing on contemporary policing challenges and opportunities for deeper collaboration.

The engagement is expected to enhance cooperation between the Ghana Police Service and the NYPD, particularly in professional development and the adoption of modern policing strategies.
