Organisers of the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards have officially released the nominees for the fourth edition of the scheme, widely regarded as one of the country’s leading platforms celebrating outstanding young achievers.
The nominations, unveiled on February 28, 2026, feature several prominent personalities and emerging talents across sectors including entertainment, business, academia and public service.
Among the notable nominees this year are award-winning rapper Sarkodie, international dancehall star Stonebwoy, GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi, business magnate Ibrahim Mahama, entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye, political scientist Ransford Gyampo, youth activist Malik Basintale, dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and media personality Julius Neequaye, among others.
According to the organisers, Apex Africa Concept, winners for the 2026 edition will be determined through a combination of public voting and extensive research.
Public voting will be conducted through Fastvote, the official voting partner for this year’s edition, allowing supporters and the general public to participate in selecting their preferred winners.
The Ghana Youth Excellence Awards scheme recognises young individuals making significant contributions to national development and positively impacting society through leadership, innovation and excellence in their respective fields.
Last year’s edition of the awards was held at the National Theatre of Ghana, attracting prominent personalities, industry leaders and youth icons from across the country.
Organisers say the fourth edition is expected to be bigger as it continues its mission of celebrating and empowering young Ghanaians who are shaping the future of the nation.
