It’s disappointing we are not winning our home games – Kotoko interim coach

Interim Asante Kotoko coach Prince Yaw Owusu has expressed his frustration over the team’s struggles to secure wins at home, a situation he says is letting down their supporters.

The Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by a 10-man Vision FC in last weekend’s Matchday 24 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium, leaving fans visibly disappointed.

Ahead of their upcoming Matchday 25 clash against Karela United this weekend, Yaw Owusu reflected on the points dropped on home soil.

“It’s not easy at all. A lot of thinking about what’s going on, what is happening, why Kumasi, all those things cross my mind,” he told the club’s media.

“It hurts a lot because my fans are also in Kumasi, and this is where we have to satisfy them, and it’s not happening. It’s very difficult for us,” Yaw Owusu added.

The match, which is scheduled to be staged at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
