A charged and joyful atmosphere has taken over Heaven Way Champion International Ministry as members gather to welcome Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, following her release from prison today, Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Adom News’ Michael Boateng, popularly known as Mike 2, who is at the church, reported that by mid-morning, sections of the auditorium were already filled with worshippers in a thanksgiving mood.
Some sang and prayed, while others sprinkled powder in celebration, expressing gratitude for what they described as a new chapter for their leader and the ministry.
Her husband, Angel Asiamah, has been at the centre of the preparations. In the days leading up to her return, he unveiled a commemorative T-shirt printed with the words, “PRAY EVERYDAY,” urging members to approach the occasion with reflection and renewed faith.
In the early hours of the day, he took to Facebook to announce his wife’s reunion with the family, giving thanks to God.
The church building itself has been refreshed with a new coat of paint and minor renovations to accommodate the expected turnout. Seating arrangements have been carefully organised for what church leaders described as a modest reception.
During Sunday’s service, Pastor Asiamah confirmed that plans were in place to ensure order, encouraging congregants to maintain decorum.
He reminded them that the moment was not only about celebrating her freedom but also about recommitting themselves to the vision of the ministry.
Her release from Nsawam Medium Security Prison follows Ghana’s remission policy. Initially sentenced to 15 years for charlatanic advertisement, the term was reduced to one year after a successful appeal.
