Heavy traffic built up around the Circle Overhead near the GOIL filling station on Thursday morning after a truck reportedly lost control and crashed.
The vehicle reportedly veered off the main carriageway and overturned onto the outer lane, blocking movement and causing significant congestion in the area.
At the time of reporting, the truck, with registration number BV 8083, remained on the road, obstructing traffic flow.
Traffic is being diverted from Nima through Equip as personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service and the Police work to clear the scene and tow the truck to restore normal movement.
Road users have been advised to consider alternative routes and remain patient while officials manage the situation and reopen the affected stretch.
There were no injuries reported. The driver and his assistants are safe and remain at the scene as recovery operations continue.
