A 42-year-old man, identified as Bismark Yaw Sarfo Danso, has been murdered in his home at Asonkore SSNIT, a suburb of Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to Adom News, the deceased’s wife, Comfort Mensah, said the incident occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. when three armed men allegedly stormed their residence.
She said the assailants attacked her husband and fled with cash, a laptop and other personal belongings.
Mrs Mensah further disclosed that the police have arrested the deceased’s junior brother to assist with investigations, while the body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
