Partey, Kudus, others left out as Otto Addo names Black Stars squad for Japan, South Korea friendlies

-

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced his squad for this month’s international friendlies against Japan and South Korea.

The matches form part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with the team set to face Japan on November 14 before taking on South Korea on November 18.

New faces in the squad include Czech Republic-based forward Prince Kwabena Adu, Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah, and FC Montreal attacker Prince Osei Owusu.

Their inclusion follows the decision to rest some senior players, while others have been ruled out due to injuries.

The Black Stars are expected to hold their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday, ahead of the Kirin Cup clash with Japan on Friday, November 14.
