Hearts of Oak must support Didi Dramani – Aziz Haruna Futa

-

Former Hearts of Oak National Chapter Committee (NCC) chairman, Aziz Haruna Futa, has called on the club’s hierarchy to throw their full support behind head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as he continues to shape his vision for the team.

Dramani, a former coach of both the Black Stars and Asante Kotoko, took charge of Hearts before the start of the 2025/26 campaign and has guided the side to an encouraging start, losing just once in nine league matches.

The Phobians currently sit fifth on the table with 16 points.

Speaking to Sporty FM, Haruna Futa emphasised the need for patience and a long-term plan to ensure sustainable success.

“Didi Dramani is not a bad coach. He needs time and a project,” he said.

“The club needs a project, whether for six years or more, so the coach can work,” Haruna Futa added.

Hearts of Oak will look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko when they face Swedru All Blacks in their Matchday 10 fixture at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
