Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders has announced the appointment of Josef Emmanuel Sarpong as head coach.
The veteran gaffer steps in for Nii Odartey Lamptey, who departs after a difficult start that has seen the club collect just two points from their opening seven league fixtures, a run that has left Wonders rooted near the foot of the table.
Sarpong arrives with a reputation for stabilising struggling sides and building competitive squads.
His coaching résumé spans more than 15 years, with stints at Great Olympics, Ebusua Dwarfs and several other Ghanaian clubs, earning plaudits for his tactical discipline and success in guiding teams to promotions and cup triumphs.
Club management say they are confident his experience and leadership will spark a turnaround amid their struggles.

His first task will be to restore belief in the dressing room and steer Wonders out of early-season trouble.
