The Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi Nchumuru, Solomon Kuyon, and the District Chief Executive (DCE), Martin Kofi Anato, have jointly dismissed claims of disunity between their offices.
Speaking to Adom News during a Local Government Committee session in Accra, both leaders described the reports of political tension as unfounded and misleading.
The committee session formed part of a nationwide oversight tour to review ongoing and completed projects and discuss plans for the socio-economic growth of the Krachi Nchumuru District.
Addressing constituents after the session, Mr. Kuyon assured residents that there is a strong working relationship between him and the DCE.
“There is no disunity between myself and the DCE. We work together closely and consult regularly on issues affecting the district. Our priority is to deliver development, not division,” he said.
Mr. Anato echoed this stance, stressing the need for collaboration over politics.
“Development is a collective responsibility. The MP and I are committed to working hand in hand to improve infrastructure, water supply, and healthcare for our people. The claims out there do not reflect the reality on the ground,” the DCE stated.
Community leaders and residents have welcomed the clarification, urging both officials to remain united in their efforts to address pressing development needs.
The renewed assurance of cooperation is expected to boost public confidence and accelerate ongoing projects in the district.
