Dancehall king Shatta Wale has opened up about his emotional distress following a disturbing prophecy predicting his death.

The award-winning musician says he is traumatised by the revelation, describing it as a direct attack on his peace of mind.

According to his management team, the prophecy has had a deeply troubling impact on his wellbeing, prompting calls for immediate psychological support and therapy.

The prophecy was made by a self-styled prophet who claimed to have seen a vision of Shatta Wale being chased and fatally shot by gunmen.

The alleged vision described how Wale initially escaped an attack by ten armed men, only to be later ambushed and killed by three others. The prophet also claimed that in between the attacks, Wale had appeared on social media to thank God for his life.

Shatta Wale, however, is not taking the matter lightly. In a strongly-worded video, he slammed the prophet and others like him, accusing them of exploiting fear for fame and social media relevance.

He has since issued a public ultimatum to the Ghana Police Service, demanding the arrest of the prophet within one week.
