NDC seizing state lands, dismissing workers – Ntim Fordjour alleges

The Ranking Member on Parliament's Interior Committee and MP for Assin South, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour,

Ranking Member on Parliament’s Interior Committee and MP for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of forcefully taking over state lands and dismissing legitimately employed individuals just seven months into office.

Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Rev. Fordjour claimed the NDC is using financial muscle to acquire lands indiscriminately.

“In just seven months that they have come to power, unless they don’t see a land, they don’t even care who the owner is; they will use money to take over the land,” he alleged.

He further described the ongoing dismissals as alarming and unjust, warning that the true scale of the situation may be worse than reported.

“The number of dismissals that has been reported could actually be much higher than what is currently known,” he said.
