Black Stars maintain 76th spot in latest FIFA rankings

Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, have held on to their 76th position in the latest FIFA World Rankings released on Thursday, July 10.

The West African side had moved up one place in the previous update but saw no change in the latest release, following their participation in the 2025 Unity Cup held in London.

During the international tournament, Ghana suffered a semifinal defeat to rivals Nigeria but bounced back to secure third place with a win over Trinidad and Tobago.

Despite the mixed results, the Black Stars also retained their position on the continental table, ranking 14th among African nations.

Head coach Otto Addo is expected to build on the team’s recent performances as they prepare for the next round of international fixtures later this year.
