The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, July 7, 2025, hold an emergency meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC).
The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.
This was announced in a statement issued by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.
Among other matters, the meeting is expected to focus on the Electoral Commission’s (EC) decision to rerun elections in 19 polling stations within the Ablekuma North Constituency.
The emergency meeting comes just days after the NPP indicated plans to initiate legal action against the rerun, which is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2025.
