Playing with Partey and Ayew a dream come true – Baah Bonsu

KRC Genk winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has expressed his excitement after sharing the international stage with Premier League stars Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey.

Though the 20-year-old did not feature in Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March, he made a memorable impact at the recent 2025 Unity Cup held in London.

Bonsu Baah was a key figure in the Black Stars’ commanding 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago, helping Ghana secure third place in the tournament.

His pace and skill on the wings impressed many Ghanaian fans eager to see new talent shine.

Speaking to 3Sports after his debut, Bonsu Baah revealed his admiration for Partey and Ayew, calling the opportunity to play alongside them a dream come true.

“I think Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew—because I really wanted to see them,” he said.
“Even in training, I was just staring at them and I was like, ‘Wow, it’s a dream come true for me to play with them,’” Bonsu Baah added.

Following his strong performance at the Unity Cup, Bonsu Baah will be aiming to secure a place in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali in September.
