The Commanding Officer of the Artillery Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces in the Volta Region, Lt. Col. Jalali Din Ibrahim, has urged personnel to remain adaptive, innovative, and united in the face of emerging security challenges.
He made the call during a durbar marking the unit’s 60th anniversary celebration held in Ho.
Addressing officers and soldiers, the Commanding Officer emphasised the need for continuous evolution in strategy and operations to effectively respond to modern-day threats.

He noted that the changing nature of global and local security demands a proactive and forward-thinking military, stressing that adaptability and innovation are critical tools in maintaining operational readiness.
The Commanding Officer further highlighted unity within the ranks as a key pillar for success, indicating that cohesion and teamwork remain essential in executing the regiment’s mandate.
Also speaking on the anniversary commemorated under the theme “Six decades of dedicated service,” the Commanding Officer indicated that the theme captures their journey, reflects their responsibilities, and clearly outlines their aspirations for the future.

The anniversary celebration brought together military personnel, dignitaries, and guests to reflect on the regiment’s achievements over the years and reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding national peace and security.
The 66 Artillery Regiment, one of the key units under the Ghana Armed Forces, continues to play a vital role in ensuring stability and supporting civil authorities when needed.
