Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has delivered on its flagship programmes it promised Ghanaians.

According to Mr Ofori-Atta, the grace of God abounds for the Akufo-Addo-led government and that was why they have been able to serve Ghanaians competently and efficiently.

“President Akufo-Addo was elected to fix things in Ghana and he has been able to deliver on his flagship programmes,” he said.

Presenting the 2019 budget statement on Wednesday, the Finance Minister said the Akufo-Addo government had worked assiduously to make 2019 a good year for Ghanaians.

“The success of the implementation of the flagship programmes is borne out of incontrovertible evidence corroborated by data,” he added.

He said 1.2 million students have been enrolled in Senior High Schools (SHS) under the free SHS programme, 97,373 graduates have been given opportunities in a work environment through NABCO,” he said.

To Mr Ofori-Atta, the Akufo-Addo-led government was proud of itself for the competence it had showed to Ghanaians.

He added that the government had achieved significant structural changes because President Nana Akufo-Addo had been consistent in his vision.
