Minister for Health, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu

The Health Minister has disclosed the government is working to ensure the delivery of 10 pickups to support the Ghana Ambulance Service.

Mr Kwaku Agyemang-Manu disclosed this in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem, Tuesday.

“We are delivering 10 pickups to the ambulance service to help them run their activities and to ensure that our health delivery system is intact,” he noted.

To the Minister, healthcare delivery is a priority to the Akufo-Addo-led government with processes on course in achieving quality healthcare in Ghana.

“We are aware of the problems with our healthcare system but they cannot all be achieved in a day and I believe in due time things will fall in place,” he assured.

He added that the Ministry is working on the implementation of a law which is before Cabinet to support the running of the ambulance service.
