Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yamin, has said the Akufo-Addo government would lose elections even if it decides to change the voters’ register into his birth certificate.
Mr Yamin who was commenting on the Electoral Commission’s decision to compile a new voters register said he found the decision interesting, especially when the same register made Akufo-Addo president.
“Nana Akufo-Addo doesn’t know what to use our money for in the same economy that he’s messed up that’s why he’s calling for a new register,” he said on Adom TV’s Badwam, Monday.

Mr Yamin also said the EC’s demands for a new register suggests anytime the Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs) became obsolete, it would throw the register away for a new one.
He noted that digital environment gave an opportunity for updating data and add new features instead of a new register.
