Mercy Obi-Nkyere in an interview with Adom News after gaining consciousness recounted her loss.

I am an Adventist so I don’t go to work on Saturday so I was home taking care of my sick child when my sister rushed to my house to tell me what had happened. We rushed to the shop but couldn’t pick even a pin. I have lost everything to the fire; my customers’ clothes and 10 sewing machines of my apprentices, my knitting and industrial machines, she narrated.
