Mr Asiedu Nketia has asked President Akufo-Addo to remove the Audit Service Board Chairman if he is committed to fighting corruption.

According to Mr Nketiah, Prof Dua Agyeman who is also the Chairman to a Cabinet sub Committee Responsible for Coordination of Forensic Audit of state agencies under the erstwhile government blew $6million on private investigations aimed at nailing appointees of the regime.

General Mosquito, as he is popularly called, said Professor Dua Agyeman was tainted by scandals in the past and does not deserve to hold the position as the Board Chair of the Audit Service.

But in a rebuttal, on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show Thursday, Prof Dua Agyeman said it was obvious the NDC scribe is “ill-informed”.

He noted that Mr Nketia’s judgement has been clouded by his hatred for him because “I have achieved more in life than him”.

Prof Dua Agyeman described as false claims that the government spent $6million as palpable false because the institutions being audited paid for it.

The Audit Service Board Chairman said attempt to paint him black is an exercise in futility because “my integrity is intact”.

To put matters to rest, Prof Dua Agyeman said he will seek legal action against General Mosquito’s continuous attempts to malign him at every opprtunity.
