According to him, his dad is finding it hard to accept him as a musician because he doesn’t like the aura it comes with.

“Even my dad is not in support for me to do music. He wants me to be something else like an accountant. He doesn’t like showbiz. I tried explaining things to him when my mom was being bashed on social media but he didn’t get why it was happening,” he revealed.

Asked if his dad accepted him back when he worked as a Taxi driver, the “Dream” hitmaker answered in the affirmative saying:

…he told me ‘a man is supposed to be a man’ and if I am surviving on that [being a taxi driver], it’s cool. He didn’t really complain about it,” Kumi answered.
