The back-and-forth between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy has taken another turn, and this time Sarkodie is not leaving much room for interpretation.

After Stonebwoy publicly questioned the rapper’s stance on fan wars and urged him to practise what he preaches, Sarkodie has returned with a lengthy response, asking one blunt question: “What is your problem?”

The exchange follows Sarkodie’s recent “10 commandments” to SarkNatives, in which he urged his fans to support his brand without resorting to online toxicity.

He also cautioned fellow artistes against entertaining fans who attack other artistes or brands simply to elevate them, warning that some people may appear to be fighting for their favourite artiste when they are actually chasing engagement for themselves.

Stonebwoy, however, appeared to see himself in the message.

The BHIM Nation boss responded with his own pointed remarks, questioning the principle behind Sarkodie’s message and bringing up two previous social media posts which he believed carried subliminal shots at him.

He also referenced a lengthy phone conversation between the two artistes, claiming Sarkodie had told him that artistes ultimately “play along” with situations that benefit them.

Sarkodie, not one to let agenda on his name slide, has now returned to set the record straight.

Sarkodie said he found it interesting that Stonebwoy connected his post to himself, whereas it was intended as a generic meme.

‘What is your problem?’, he quizzed, as he debunked ever making shady posts or throwing indirect shots at Stonebwoy.

“The first thing I asked you when we got on that call, and I still want to ask, is “What is your problem?” If, for any reason, you connected that post to yourself, that should tell me how you feel about everything else. First off, there’s no post I’ve made in my life trying to shade you, and I don’t respond when fans want to make connections because I only care about your opinion, not what someone else makes it seem.”

According to Sarkodie, he usually does not bother when fans try to decode his posts and attach them to different artistes but he has been forced to respond because Stonebwoy directly addressed him.

The rapper maintained that he has no issues with Stonebwoy whatsoever, making him wonder where the sudden rant is birthed from.

“If I had any issues with you, I wouldn’t have been the one to pick up the phone, call you, and invite you to my RAH show. This is not the first time you’ve had these feelings, and every time you do, I take a deep breath, come to you, and we talk…So there’s really no need to twist my words or make them mean something they don’t”

Sarkodie, per his tweets, feels the negative sentiments are because of his association with some industry persons who are not in the good of Stonebwoy.

Nonetheless, he could not be bothered whatsoever.

“You hang out with people who have disrespected me, but there’s no way I would assume that means you support their disrespect towards me, because you have nothing to do with it. Yet you seem to feel I owe you something that simply doesn’t exist,” Sarkodie said.

The rapper further revealed that this is not the first time Stonebwoy has raised similar concerns with him, but in all times, he reaches out privately to settle the matter, but not anymore.

He charged Stonebwoy to either move on and walk alongside the industry, or continue dwelling in his feelings.

“And my g you don’t need to fck with me I’m pretty sure I add no value to your life to even worry about me.”
