The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has reminded applicants awaiting their 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results that its admission application portal remains open, with selected programmes closing on Friday, September 11, 2026.
The reminder follows the release of the 2026 WASSCE results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
UCC said applicants who had applied under the awaiting-results category should log into the application portal with their e-voucher details and confirm that their full names, WASSCE index numbers and programme choices are accurate.
The university has also advised applicants who already have November/December (Nov/Dec) results but did not use them during the initial application to add those results as a second sitting.
Applicants with 2025 or older WASSCE results, however, are required to select the “WASSCE Application” option and verify their results during the application process before submitting their forms.
The university said applications for a number of health-related programmes will close on September 11.
Applicants seeking admission to all other programmes have until Friday, September 25, 2026, according to the notice.
UCC has urged applicants to carefully review their application details before the relevant deadlines to avoid errors that could affect the processing of their applications.
