Tema Youth midfielder, Joseph Paintsil is confident his team will pick up all three points when they host Bolga All Stars on Saturday at the Tema Stadium.
In an interview with Asempa Sports after Thursday’s training session, the influential midfielder stressed that a win in Sunday’s game will be a way of rewarding their supporters who were disappointed when Ashantigold held them to a 1-1 draw in their last home match.
“We consider the game very important. The three points matter to us. We will be doing everything to fight for it,” he said.
He pointed out that Bolga All Stars will come into the game very strong searching for their first away win or point but he’s confident his team will rise to the occasion to pick all three points.
He further revealed that the team was also disappointment when they lost to Elmina Sharks last weekend in Elmina in Match Day 4.
“That loss against Elmina Sharks was painful; very painful that we didn’t know what to do moments after the game. It broke our spirit for that moment looking at the circumstance in which we lost the game but we have overcome the pain. We must also work hard to win our home match,” he revealed.
Victory for us will boost our confidence going into the next games.
