The Greater Accra Region President of the Ghana Union and Traders Association (GUTA), David Amoateng has revealed that the Association respects leaders who listen to the grievances of its members.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii sen show, Mr Amoateng stated they acknowledge everything the government has done for them so far even though some were satisfactory and others not.

“We appreciate leaders in charge of our trade affairs who are respectful whether a minister, deputy or CEO.”

Mr Amoateng however acknowledged the president Nana Akufo-Addo for his contribution and his promises he has delivered unto the association.

“The president has met with us more than any other president in the history of Ghana through which a lot of issues were addressed but as traders, we always ask for more as Oliver twist.”
