If you agree with the saying that a woman’s strength is nothing compared to a man’s then you are in for the shock of your life.
A resident of Pekyi in the Ashanti Region, Asiedu Nketia, has confessed to being on the verge of losing his life as a result of his wife’s abusive behaviour.

According to Asiedu Nketia, who affectionately calls himself ‘the general’, Dora, his wife is disrespectful and throws a fist over every little issue.
Speaking on Nyhira FM’s Obra, he explained that he and his lover started cohabiting after discovering Dora was pregnant as he wanted to take full responsibility, a decision he has greatly regretted.
Asiedu Nketia ‘the General’ revealed that his wife takes advantage of his tiny stature and beats him over little provocations and to top it all, forcefully keeps his salary.

“Anytime I get back from work, she collects my salary, deducts money for housekeeping and keeps the rest with the excuse that it is safer in her possession,” he narrated.
He added that Dora almost butchered him with a cutlass but for his steady intervention, leading to injuries to his hand.

That notwithstanding, Dora has fought every tenant in his house, including Asiedu’s own mother.
In defence to Asiedu’s claims, Dora argued that her attitude is warranted by his relatives’ constant harassment of her.
