Emerging act, signed under Highly Spiritual Record label, Yaw Berk has issued an apology to his renowned producer, Kaywa after alleging that he left his record label because his studio was infested with bedbugs.

On August 22, 2019, Mr Berk, in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, said his boss failed to manage him well.

According to him, he was made to release only two songs in two years, thereby reducing the value of his music brand.

Venting his spleen on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM to host Andy Dosty, Mr Berk said he didn’t see himself to be ungrateful because he was speaking the truth about Kaywa.

“I told him I wanted to leave. Two songs in two years won’t make it any better. It wasn’t stated that one year one song. I really do apologise for my choice of words. My intention is not to be ungrateful. I understand some artistes are like that but what needs to be said needs to be said,” he said.

But Kaywa, reacting to Mr Berk’s allegations labelled him a “liar”.

According to the music producer, he did everything for him, but he never appreciated it.

“I’ve had a lot of people saying I should let him go. You will go to the studio and find boxer shorts, socks and everything scattered in the studio and they will tell you its for Yaw Berk. I just want to clear the air. When Mr Drew left the studio there was nothing like that.

“I record a song for GH¢5,000.00. If I want to take my time and everything I will take GH¢50,000.00 from him. I told him I had a plan to release a song for him and Wendy Shay. The most humble person you can find is an underground artiste. When they need your help they are always around. When he left I took him out of my heart,” Kaywa told Andy Dosty.
