Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenim Boateng Adjei, has finally appeared before the Special Prosecutor to answer questions on conflict of interest allegations leveled against him.

This follows revelations in a documentary by investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni that showed his company, Talents Discovery Limited allegedly engaged in the sale of government contracts.

The company was registered in June 2017 after Mr Adjei was appointed CEO of the PPA. His conduct, according to reports, breaches ethics of procurement practitioners.

After his meeting with Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, the embattled PPA boss looked gloomy when he was exiting the office with his lawyer.

Mr Adjei is also billed to meet the Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice to answer questions.
