Rapper Kwesi Arthur is definitely not cutting his hair even though his father has asked him to.

Last weekend, the news was all over that the rapper’s dad wanted his dreadlocks cut off because it doesn’t depict doctrines of the Church of Pentecost faith.

“The background that he is from, we see him to be exceptional. You see the hip-hop people with earrings among other stuff. I don’t like his hairstyle. It comes with the job but I don’t like it. I only want him to be gentle. You tag me as a Pentecost person and he is also the same. I talked to him about it but he laughed and we moved on,” Kwesi’s dad lamented.

But speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Monday, Kwesi reacted, saying he wouldn’t cut his hair now.

According to him, right from childhood his dad has been against his hair so “at one point in the future he will cut it.”

“He has always been against my hair. He used to say he won’t give me money if I don’t go cut my hair. I just like having hair on my head but I will cut it when I am ready,” he told Andy Dosty.
