Lumba said since the name ‘Daddy Lumba’ was exclusively associated to him within the music industry, the defendant’s imitation and misrepresentation has affected his reputation, business and goodwill and the brand as a whole.
But speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Wednesday, Supremo said he couldn’t fathom why Daddy Lumba would sue him because he had already attained props from the celebrated highlife musician.
Anokye Supremo recalled when Lumba rained eulogies on him, saying “Hey Junior, I know all you’re doing; continue doing them and I will let the world know you”.

According to him, he is very humbled and glad to be sued by his mentor since this may be an indirect way of introducing him to the world.
Asked if he played shows and accepted gifts under the name, Daddy Lumba, Anokye said no, adding: ‘I never used his name to do anything bad; even at parties and other places where I perform, I don’t take money”.
“Who am I to be taken to court by Daddy Lumba; who am I? I thank God for it,” he added.
