Ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has said he was overwhelmed by the crowd who watched “Number 12” documentary that unearthed corrupt officials in the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

According to him, his team pushed him several times to investigate some GFA officials but he had to procrastinate because he had less interest in sports, he said on Joy FM’s Super Morning show.

“I should have done this long ago. My interest was so low. So I kept procrastination. And that is what we ought to learn as journalists. My team were pushing me and I wasn’t but now everyone is interested in Number 12…” he said.

“I didn’t know that they were so detailed until I got into football. People kept on warning me that when mixed with politics the dynamics would change. I didn’t heed to it. If I knew number 12 would erupt this way, I would have put in effort…” Anas maintained.
