Adom TV’s morning show, ‘Badwam’ was forced to come to an abrupt end after two outspoken members of the two leading political parties- New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) – engaged in insults.

The two, the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC and Kwaku Boahen, a Deputy Communications Director of the NDC were discussing issues of insecurity when it turned dirty.

Mr Boahen said that the Akufo-Addo government is failing to guarantee the peace and safety of Ghanaians after the recent killing of some police officers in the country.

“Security in this country has been worse under Akufo-Addo. The lives of police officers and even citizens are at risk. Armed robbers are killing police officers who are supposed to protect us. Akufo-Addo has done nothing to protect us. He is indeed the worse President Ghana has ever had,” he said.

Mr Boahen’s comment did not go down well with Abronye DC who descended heavily on his friend in the studio.

He accused the Mahama-government of doing nothing to secure the lives of Ghanaians, adding that Ghanaians feel secure today than they did in the past.
