L-R: Shatta Wale, Samini and Stonebwoy

The last thing Ghanaians would expect after the fracas at last weekend’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will be a collaboration between musicians Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

But, dancehall act Samini says it will be just right for the two acts to smoke the peace pipe by collaborating on a song.

He said he is ready to serve them the hook for the song if they make up their minds.

“They should give us a huge single. If they want a hook I am up for that. We can make a show out of that at the stadium,” Samini said.

Samini condemned the scuffle that ensued at the Accra International Conference Centre and appealed to Ghanaians to forgive Stonebwoy for pulling out a gun.

According to him, he knows Stonebwoy isn’t violent and Shatta Wale would not have approached Stonebwoy if he knew he had a weapon.

He said Shatta Wale’s decision to climb the stage isn’t news because he expected him to do that as Shatta Wale had done similar gestures to him some years back when they were beefing.

Going forward, Samini asked the authorities to set up a counselling session for both parties.

“Stonebwoy isn’t violent. He was pushed and I have lived with him to know that. Ghanaians should forgive him… I will also beg for Shatta Wale because it is one of the expected actions of him,” he said on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Thursday.
