New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman hopeful, Boakye Agyarko, has urged candidates who were unsuccessful in the party’s constituency executive elections to remain committed and continue supporting the party’s cause.
Mr Agyarko said although some aspirants could not secure positions in the just-ended internal elections, their willingness to serve demonstrates their dedication to the growth and progress of the NPP.
In a message congratulating the newly elected constituency executives, he encouraged those who lost the elections not to withdraw from party activities.
“To those who were unsuccessful, your desire to serve reflects your commitment to the growth and progress of our great party. I urge you to stay on the battlefield until victory is won in 2028,” he said.
The NPP National Chairman hopeful also called for unity among party members, stressing that rebuilding the party requires the collective efforts of both elected executives and other committed members.
He said his vision is to see the NPP reorganised, rebuilt and strengthened into a disciplined and formidable political force capable of winning the 2028 general elections.
Mr Agyarko further urged the new constituency executives to serve with humility, integrity and dedication as they lead the party’s grassroots structures.
According to him, a strong grassroots organisation will be key to supporting the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and parliamentary candidates in the next general election.
