Ghana Premier League Broadcasters, StarTimes have apologized for not being able to telecast match day 17 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.

Berekum Chelsea against Aduana Stars at the Golden City Park on Saturday whiles Asante Kotoko against Great Olympics on Sunday were scheduled for LIVE television coverage but the premier league broadcast holders failed telecast those matches.

Despite their inability to make GPL fans happy, the outfit on Monday afternoon released an official statement pleading to the general public for not being able to honour their promise pleading to soccer loving fans to exercise patience with them.

“StarTimes offers its profound apologies to our football loving fans for our inability to bring week 17 games of the Ghana Premier League to our television audience all over the country, it was due to a circumstance beyond our control,” the statement read.

They have also reassured their TV audience that, things are under control in their best interest to ensure games are brought to their doorsteps without hitches.

“Measures have been put in place to ensure that the rest of this season’s games are brought to our television fans without any break.”

The China based firmed signed a long term deal with the Ghana Football Association to broadcast the Ghana Premier League for the next 10 years.
