This round of Serie A action will focus on three games, starting out on the early evening of Saturday 10 February when Roma host title-chasing Internazionale. The Nerazzurri will be looking to pick up three valuable points on the road against a Giallorossi side which is now being led by former fan favourite player Daniele De Rossi.

“When I came here as a fan there was always a lot of affection, the fans have always been great to me. But now I have a different role and you live it differently,” said the Roma interim boss.

Juventus will then have the chance to respond to Inter’s result when they host Udinese in Turin in the round-closing match on Monday night. The Bianconeri have developed into an efficient machine under manager Massimiliano Allegri.

“We can see that Inter are doing great things, they’ve collected many points already and are favourites for the Scudetto. We’re improving […]. Celebrating a win is always easy but you’ve got to play the game first,” said Allegri.

The third big match of the round will be the late kick-off on Sunday when AC Milan and Napoli, the champions of the past two seasons, meet at the San Siro. It’s a key clash for the Rossoneri in their ambition to finish in the top four, while the Partenopei are hoping to salvage something from the abysmal defence of their title.

“We must be fearless and try to perform at our best. It’s a hard game, but we want better results than in the first part of the season. Surely, we’ve had a good week,” said Milan manager Stefano Pioli. “Milan must earn as many points as possible, that’s what we want from every single game. All games are worth three points and we want to take them home.”
