Vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Akwasi Afriyie has charged newly appointed coach of the senior national team, Kwesi Appiah to winning ways.

According to the Black Stars Management Committee Member, the only thing that can bring back the love Ghanaian have for the Black Stars team is when they are back on winning.

“He should bring the team back to winning ways. He should help the team to win the most important things we expect him to do as a coach.

“What has changed is that it’s been three years since he left; since he left the face of the team has changed and things have also not been the same,” he told the media.

He however called on Ghanaians to give the former Asante Kotoko captain their full backing to enable him deliver within the two-year term.

The former Asante Kotoko player was appointed as the Black Stars head coach for the next two years with an option of two years extension.

He replaces Avram Grant who left the Black Stars job after a disastrous 2017 AFCON campaign in Gabon.
