Less than 24 hours after ending Braimah Kamoko’s 28-0 undefeated record, Samir Bastie has come out to accuse the referee on the night of wasting time in the ring to help the latter also known as Bukom Banku recover from his knocks during the bout.

According to the Northern region-based champion, WBO referee who also doubles as a Board member of Ghana Boxing Authority, Fredrick Ghartey from round 3 of the bout favoured  his opponent.

“The referee deliberately dragged the fight to help Bukom Banku recover any time he goes down”, Bastie said.

“Referee Ghartey was not fair at all. He slowed the bout and aided Bukom Banku till round 7 where he could not continue again”, He added.

Samir Bastie is now undefeated in 19 professional bouts while Bukom Banku record drop to 29-1.
